Bookies have England as big favourites

Cape Town - England will take a 1-0 lead in their four-Test series against the Proteas, if local bookmakers are to be believed...

LIVE: South Africa v England, Day 5

South Africa start Day 5 at Kingsmead in Durban on 136/4, needing 280 runs for victory with six wickets in hand.

However, local bookmakers Sportingbet believe Hashim Amla's men will fall short - and be bowled out - thus giving the visitors a crucial 1-0 lead heading into the second Test at Newlands on Saturday, January 2.

England are 1/5 to pick up the remaining six Proteas wickets, while SA are 11/1 long-shots to score the required 280 runs.

The draw is on offer at 5/1.
