SA lose 1-2 batsman ranking

Cape Town - The Proteas can no longer boast the top two batsmen in the ICC rankings after the second and final Test against India in Durban.

Although AB de Villiers remains atop the standings, team-mate Hashim Amla has slipped from second to fourth following a disappointing innings' against the Indians at Kingsmead (3).

De Villiers scored 74 in his only knock in Durban.

West Indian Shivnarine Chanderpaul has moved up to second, followed by New Zealand's Ross Taylor in third.

Proteas Test skipper Graeme Smith finds himself in eighth spot, while Jacques Kallis retired in 12th position.
