Proteas provided with hit out

Johannesburg - CSA on Monday named the seven additional players for the Composite XI to play the Proteas Test squad in a three-day practice match, starting at the Wanderers Stadium on Tuesday.

The XI will be completed by four members of the Proteas squad to make sure that all squad members get game time.

Additional players: Temba Bavuma (Highveld Lions), Quinton de Kock (Highveld Lions), Simon Harmer (Warriors), Beuran Hendricks (Cape Cobras), Reeza Hendricks (Knights), Rilee Rossouw (Knights), Stiaan van Zyl (Cape Cobras).

Players from the Titans and Dolphins franchises could not be considered because of their involvement in Wednesday’s playoff qualifier in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge at Kingsmead.
