Proteas post imposing target

Cape Town - Captain Hashim Amla's 88 not out off 53 balls has lifted the Proteas to an impressive total in their T20 clash against Bangladesh at the Harare Sports Club on Tuesday.

The South Africans posted a mammoth 209 for three in their allotted 20 overs.

All the South African batsmen made noteworthy contributions with opener Richard Levi scoring 37 off 21 balls, Colin Ingram 29 off 22 and Albie Morkel chipping in with 22 off 18.

JP Duminy (23 off seven balls) also launched a late onslaught to take the score past the 200 mark.
