Cape Town - The South African cricket team will next week head off to Switzerland for a team building session with adventurer and motivational speaker Mike Horn.
According to Beeld the team will head to Geneva for three days on Monday as part of their preparation for the England tour, which starts next month.
The Proteas were hugely disappointing in the recent T20 tri-series against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh where they lost to the hosts in the final in Harare.
They have the opportunity to become the No 1 Test team if they beat England in the series and coach Gary Kirsten feels this trip to Switzerland will be beneficial for their preparations.
Horn previously worked as a motivational speaker with India just before they won the 2011 World Cup under the guidance of Kirsten.
"It will be important to have the right frame of mind on the English tour, therefore I want all the players to be focused on the goal at hand," said Kirsten.
The coach is however confident that the poor T20 showing in Zimbabwe will have no bearing on their five-day form.
"For me the short tour to Zimbabwe was not a disappointment. It was important for us to test new combinations and it therefore wasn't our main goal to win the series.
"There were however players that didn’t make the grade, but others showed me some good things," said Kirsten.
He lauded the efforts of Wayne Parnell, Chris Morris and Marchant de Lange, but admitted the bowling of Lonwabo Tsotsobe was disappointing.
