Proteas bat in warm-up game

Johannesburg - The Proteas have won the toss and elected to bat on the first day of the three-day warm-up match against a Rest of South Africa (RoSA) XI at the Wanderers on Tuesday.
 
Dean Elgar will captain the RoSA XI, which features Ryan McLaren and Wayne Parnell from the Proteas’ Test squad.
 
AB de Villiers was not considered for selection, but remains on track to making a full recovery from his hand surgery. He will follow his own rehabilitation programme during the match.

Proteas XI: Graeme Smith (captain), Alviro Petersen, Hashim Amla, Faf du Plessis, JP Duminy, Thami Tsolekile (wk), Robin Peterson, Vernon Philander, Dale Steyn, Rory Kleinveldt, Morne Morkel.
 
RoSA XI: Dean Elgar (captain), Reeza Hendricks, Quinton de Kock (wk), Stiaan van Zyl, Rilee Rossouw, Temba Bavuma, Ryan McLaren, Wayne Parnell, Dominic Hendricks, Simon Harmer, Beuran Hendricks.
