Thanks for tuning in!

Hats off to Zimbabwe who bowled with great discipline today to peg South Africa back. The Proteas are still in a relatively comfortable position though. If they can get to 350 it would give them a very handy lead on a terribly slow pitch.

This partnership between Du Plessis and De Kock will be key to their cause. The Proteas must win this Test to stay No 1 in the Test rankings. A draw or a loss would see them slip back to No 2.

Be sure to join us again tomorrow morning at 10:00 for Day 3's action!

10 Aug 2014

200 up for SA, coming off 82.5 overs.

10 Aug 2014

Next ball, De Kock follows it up with a better controlled shot. Also over mid-off for four...

De Kock loses patience and darts down the track, hitting off-spinner Nyumbu narrowly past mid-off for four. His heart must have been in his mouth for a while there...

10 Aug 2014

Quinton de Kock's circumspect start (6 off 26 balls) is prove how slow this pitch is. He is a batsman who normally gets on with things. However, on this slow surface, it's just not possible...

5 overs before the second new ball is due and 9 overs remaining in the day's play.

10 Aug 2014
