Jonty warns on Oz series

Cape Town - Australia have emerged stronger from their relatively troubled times and will go hard at the No 1-ranked Proteas in the three-Test series on our turf shortly.

So says SA legend Jonty Rhodes in an interview with Sport24.

“It’s exciting ... South Africa v Australia will always provide a bit of needle; a lot of needle! It’ll be a great series, especially after we saw the Aussies come back really hard in that second Ashes series.

“They’ve been taking a lot of flak, on and off the field, in Australia and around the world, and the media and public have been very harsh on them - and they’ve grown, as players and as a team.”
