Cape Town - Proteas all-rounder JP Duminy has been ruled out of the two T20 matches against New Zealand as his wife prepares to give birth.
Duminy was originally given paternity leave for the three ODIs against the Black Caps, starting on Wednesday, August 19, but on Tuesday Cricket South Africa (CSA) confirmed that Duminy will also miss Friday's opening T20 in Durban as well as Sunday's second and final match in Centurion.
Duminy's wife, Sue, is due to give birth this week to the couples' first child.
CSA also confirmed that no replacement for Duminy will be called into the squad.
