Extra game time for Proteas trio

Cape Town - Proteas Cricket World Cup squad members Quinton de Kock, Wayne Parnell and Aaron Phangiso and have been included in the South Africa A one-day squad for the third match against the England Lions in Potchefstroom on Saturday.

Proteas coach, Russell Domgino, explained the decision: "This opportunity will give these players some valuable game time after some time on the sidelines over the last few months. Quinton and Aaron are coming back from injury while Wayne only played two matches against the West Indies. I think they can only benefit from one last run of competitive cricket before we head to the World Cup on Wednesday."

The England Lions lead the five-match series 2-0 after their 70-run win in Kimberley on Wednesday.
