Domingo to name assistants

Cape Town - New Proteas coach Russell Domingo is set to name his technical team ahead of his maiden tour as head coach of the national side.

Domingo, who replaced Gary Kirsten as coach, will make the announcement at OR Tambo International Airport on Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, convenor of selectors Andrew Hudson will also announce the respective ODI and T20 squads to play in five ODIs and two T20s against Sri Lanka, as well as the South Africa 'A' squad to play against India 'A' and Australia 'A' later this month.

The Proteas depart for Sri Lanka on Sunday, July 14, with the first ODI scheduled for Saturday, July 20.

SA 'A' will play two unofficial Tests against Australia 'A', the first of which is set for July 24-27 at the LC de Villiers Oval in Pretoria.
