Dale Steyn pays a visit!

Cape Town - Dale Steyn, premier fast bowler of the Proteas enthralled a number of Franklin D Roosevelt Primary School learners on Thursday when he paid a visit to their school.

The visit came after the learners at the school, which is situated in Roosevelt Park, Johannesburg had managed to win R10 000 in the OMO Gauteng Primary School Challenge. They won the competition by collecting the most plastic bottle tops out of all the schools in the region.

Not only did Steyn conduct a coaching clinic for the pupils but he also participated in a friendly match in which pupils, staff and even parents were involved. Steyn also placed a call to Proteas test captain, Hashim Amla who spoke to pupils over speaker phone.

It was certainly a day that the pupils of the school will never forget!
