'Probe' CSA directors as well

Johannesburg - Former Cricket SA president Mtutuzeli Nyoka has called for all the organisation's board of directors to be investigated along with suspended chief executive Gerald Majola, according a Sowetan report .

Nyoka, who was ousted as CSA president after a vote of no confidence last year, was reacting to the board's decision to suspend Majola pending the outcome of a disciplinary hearing.

Majola has been fingered for R4.7m unauthorised bonuses paid to CSA staff after the 2009 Indian Premier League and ICC Champions Trophy. It's been alleged that Majola pocketed R1.8m. He was cleared of any wrongdoing by an internal CSA inquiry headed by AK Khan, who resigned last week.

The CSA board suspended Majola on Saturday. Nyoka said: "As much as we appreciate the process, Majola is not the only culprit."
