Cape Town - Proteas skipper Graeme Smith says it's 99% certain the South African players will travel to India for the Indian Premier League later this month, despite security concerns.
"We're aware there are security issues, but we have been given certain assurances," he said.
Meanwhile, Smith, who came home before the ODI series in India after breaking the little finger on his left hand, said his hand was making progress, but he would not be playing for the Cobras in Wednesday's Pro20 second leg semi-final against the Warriors.
"I think I'll be able to play in the final (on Friday, March 12), if the Cobras get through," he said.
The Warriors won the first leg in Port Elizabeth.
