Port Elizabeth - In tribute to the Standard Bank Pro20 final being held in Nelson Mandela Bay on Friday, March 12, Standard Bank is offering the Warriors and Highveld Lions an exciting batting incentive.
Batsmen from both sides are challenged to hit 4-6-6-6-4 in sequence, in one over.
The runs must be hit in the sequential order, off five consecutive balls. For the first batsman to successfully hit the incentive, Standard Bank will make a donation of R466 640 in his name, to the Nelson Mandela House.
Standard Bank is a founding Trustee of the Nelson Mandela House in Soweto. The Mandela House is managed by the Soweto Heritage Trust, a partnership project between the City of Johannesburg, the Standard Bank Group, and the Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation.
The first successful batsman will also receive a special edition “46664” bracelet, in platinum, from Standard Bank.
The match starts at 18:00.
