Pakistan win toss and bat

Abu Dhabi - Pakistan captain Misbah-ul Haq won the toss and chose to bat in the second and final Test against Australia in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.

Pakistan, 1-0 ahead after their big 221-run win in the first Test in Dubai, remained unchanged.

Australia, seeking to avoid their first series defeat against Pakistan in 20 years, made two changes with paceman Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell in for Steve O'Keefe and Alex Doolan.


Pakistan: Misbah-ul Haq (captain), Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Azhar Ali, Younis Khan, Asad Shafiq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Zulfiqar Babar, Yasir Shah.

Australia: Michael Clarke (captain), David Warner, Chris Rogers, Steven Smith, Brad Haddin, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Starc, Peter Siddle, Nathan Lyon.

Umpires: Richard Kettleborough (ENG) and Nigel Llong (ENG)

Tv umpire: Marais Erasmus (RSA)

Match referee: Ranjan Madugalle (SRI)
