Pakistan under pressure

Pallekele - Pakistan were 299-8 in their second innings at stumps on the fourth day of the final Test against Sri Lanka in Pallekele on Wednesday.

Asad Shafiq was unbeaten on 55 and Adnan Akmal had yet to score, with Pakistan 188 runs ahead with two wickets in hand.

Sri Lanka lead the series 1-0, having won the first Test in Galle by 209 runs. The second Test in Colombo was drawn.
