Pakistan to host 2013 Tests?

Karachi - Pakistan Cricket Board chairperson Zaka Ashraf says international cricket may return to Pakistan next year and he has already provided security plans to some of the cricket boards.

Ashraf says he could not reveal names of the two cricket boards with which the PCB is talking, but hopes "good results will come, maybe in 2013."

International cricket of a sort returned to Pakistan over the weekend when players from Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa and Afghanistan represented an International World XI and played two exhibition Twenty20 matches at Karachi against a Pakistan All Star XI.

Ashraf also thanked provincial sports minister Mohammad Ali Shah for organising the matches, which were watched by crowds of more than 30 000 on Saturday and Sunday.
