Cape Town - Nasir Jamshed scored his second one-day international century to lead Pakistan to a six-wicket win over India in the first of their three one-day internationals in Chennai on Sunday.
Jamshed finished not out on 101 off 132 balls as Pakistan reached their 228-run winning target with 11 balls to spare. Younis Khan (58 off 60 balls) and Shoaib Malik (34 not out off 35 balls) also made valuable contributions.
Earlier, India posted 227 for six in their allotted 50 overs after at one stage struggling at 27 for five. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was their saviour with a well-played 113 not out of 125 balls.

Junaid Khan was Pakistan’s best bowler with figures of four for 45 in nine overs.
