Islamabad - The Pakistan Cricket Board's appeal tribunal has lifted a one-year ban on allrounder Rana Naved and halved his fine of two million rupees ($23,500).
Naved had initially received the sanctions for indiscipline and poor performance during Pakistan's disastrous tour of Australia.
PCB's legal adviser Tafazzul Rizvi said Saturday that one-man tribunal of Justice Irfan Qadir reduced Naved's punishment.
Seven players were hit with bans or fines after Australia whitewashed Pakistan in tests, one-dayers and Twenty20 matches.
