Yorkshire - Yorkshire have signed South African batsman David Miller as their second overseas player for the Friends Life t20. He joins Australia fast bowler Mitchell Starc, who is already with the county.

According to the Cricinfo website, Miller, 22, played for Durham in last season's competition, scoring 212 runs in 13 matches, including one half-century as Durham reached the quarter-finals, losing at Hampshire. Miller also played in this season's IPL, scoring 98 runs in six innings for the Kings XI Punjab.

"David is available for the whole tournament which made him an attractive proposition," Yorkshire's director of cricket Martyn Moxon said.

Miller, a powerful middle-order batsman, has also played eight T20s for South Africa and 16 ODIs.
