Johannesburg - The Titans and Cape Cobras are to all intents and purposes assured of the top two spots on the log and the home semi-finals following their most recent victories in the latest round of MTN40 matches.
Both teams were involved in tight matches, the Cobras winning by two runs against the Eagles at the De Beers Diamond Oval and the Titans by two wickets against the Warriors at SuperSport Park.
The Warriors and the Dolphins are still technically in the running for a top two finish with the number of games they have in hand, but they would have to win all their matches and do so with bonus points as well.
One of them will have to drop by the way as they play each other on Wednesday night at Buffalo Park and there will have to be a loser.
The Highveld Lions have jumped from sixth to third place following their recent run of form and all six franchises still have the opportunity to reach the semi-finals.
All the nationally contracted players will be made available for the semi-finals and final subject to the normal advice of CSA's medical panel, even though the Proteas leave for India the day after the final.
There are two matches to be played on Sunday with the Titans at home to the Dolphins at Willowmoore Park and the Eagles having the ground advantage against the Warriors at the OUTsurance Oval.
Both Sunday's matches start at 10:00.
