Late replacement for Cobras

Cape Town - The Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras begin their SuperSport Series title defence against the Bizhub Highveld Lions in Randjiesfontein on Thursday.

Seam bowler Rory Kleinveldt - who would have received his 50th SuperSport Series playing cap for this fixture - has been withdrawn from the Cobras squad to play the Lions.

Kleinveldt has been sent home due to illness, the franchise said in a statement on Wednesday, and will be replaced by Johann Louw.

Cobras team to face Lions:

1. Graeme Smith
2. Andrew Puttick
3. Stiaan Van Zyl
4. Jean-Paul Duminy
5. Justin Ontong
6. Richard Levi
7. Ryan Canning
8. Robin Peterson
9. Vernon Philander
10. Johann Louw
11. Charl Langeveldt
12. Monde Zondeki

Had Rory Kleinveldt been fit to play, he would have received his 50th SuperSport Series playing cap for this fixture.
