India - Paceman Thilan Thushara will miss the reminder of Sri Lanka's tour of India because of a shoulder injury, his country's cricket board said on Tuesday.
Thushara was forced out of the first match of the three-Test series which started on Monday when he injured the shoulder in training the previous day and felt too much pain to risk playing against India.
"Thilan Thushara will return to Sri Lanka due to a shoulder injury and will probably not be match fit for approximately two-to-four weeks," a Sri Lanka Cricket statement said, adding that Dilhara Fernando would be brought in as a replacement.
Thushara will also miss the five one-dayers and two Twenty20 internationals that follow the Test tour.
