SA call up Duminy, Parnell

Centurion - South Africa on Monday added batsman JP Duminy and left-arm fast bowler Wayne Parnell to their squad for the second Test which starts in Durban on Sunday.

The pair were added to the 12-man squad which won the first Test at SuperSport Park by an innings and 25 runs on Monday.

Duminy scored an unbeaten double century in a domestic four-day match at the weekend to make a claim for the number six spot held by Ashwell Prince, who did not bat at Centurion. It would be a surprise, though, if the selectors changed a settled batting top six.

Parnell, though, might have a chance of replacing fellow left-armer Lonwabo Tsotsobe who took only one wicket for 148 runs in the first Test.

Proteas squad:

Graeme Smith (captain), Alviro Petersen, Hashim Amla, Jacques Kallis, AB de Villiers, Ashwell Prince, Mark Boucher, Paul Harris, Dale Steyn, Morne Morkel, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Ryan McLaren, JP Duminy and Wayne Parnell
