Rain halts play in Durban

Durban - South Africa managed to add a further 102 runs in between breaks as rain halted play for the second time on Sunday afternoon in Durban.

The players were forced to leave the field with the score on 497 for eight in the second and final Test between South Africa and India at Kingsmead.

Play was delayed as the conclusion of lunch break and again 32 minutes before tea was scheduled.

South Africa held a first innings lead of 163 runs with Faf du Plessis not out on 41 and Robin Peterson dismissed just before the delay for 61.
