Cape Town - Jacques Kallis and Morne Morkel are the greatest gainers among South Africans on the latest ICC Reliance Mobile rankings following the Proteas’ victory over India by an innings and 25 runs in the opening Castle Test match at SuperSport Park on Monday.
Kallis and Morkel are ranked No 3 respectively in the latest batting and bowling rankings. Morkel’s rating of 768 is the highest he has ever achieved.
Other high ranked South African batsmen are AB de Villiers (5), Hashim Amla (9) and Graeme Smith (12).
Dale Steyn remains the No 1 ranked bowler and has opened up a gap of 55 points between himself and England’s Graeme Swann.
