Sehwag runs rampage

Mohali - India were 110 for two at stumps on the second day of the first Test against Australia in Mohali on Saturday, trailing the visitors by 318 runs.

Rahul Dravid (21) and Ishant Sharma - who has yet to score - will continue in the morning.

Virender Sehwag scored a 54-ball 59.

Earlier, Zaheer Khan took 5/94 as Australia were dismissed for 428 after tea

Tim Paine was out for 92.

Paine, who has struck 10 fours in his 179-ball knock, added 82 runs for the seventh wicket with Mitchell Johnson (47).

Johnson hit five fours and three sixes off 66 balls before he was caught behind off Zaheer Khan, giving the Indian paceman his fourth wicket of the match.

Ben Hilfenhaus (nine) was the other not out batsman at the interval.

Earlier, opener Shane Watson was caught by Gautam Gambhir for 126 off Harbhajan Singh's bowling in the only wicket to fall in the morning session. Watson faced 338 balls and hit 10 boundaries. Nathan Hauritz (nine) was also caught by Gambhir off Singh.
