India opt to field against NZ

Jaipur: India captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and sent New Zealand in to bat in the second one-day international in Jaipur on Wednesday.

The hosts retained the team that won the first match in Guwahati on Sunday by 40 runs to take the lead in the five-match series.

New Zealand welcomed back captain Daniel Vettori, who missed the first game with a back injury. He replaced batsman Grant Elliot, while seamer Tim Southee came in for the injured Daryl Tuffey.

India: Gautam Gambhir (capt), Murali Vijay, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Wriddhiman Saha, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ashish Nehra, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Munaf Patel.

New Zealand:
Daniel Vettori (capt), Ross Taylor, Jamie How, Martin Guptill, Scott Styris, Kane Williamson, Gareth Hopkins, Nathan McCullum, Kyle Mills, Tim Southee, Andy McKay.
