Johannesburg - The Kolkata Knight Riders overwhelmed the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 48 runs in their IPL clash at a packed Eden Gardens on Sunday.
According to the supersport.com website, Jacques Kallis enjoyed a fine match with bat and ball, scoring 41 off 27 balls, before scalping three wickets in the Sunrisers' chase of the 181 runs to win.
Eoin Morgan ( 47 off just 21 balls) had provided the late impetus for the home side to post 180 for four, after Gautum Gambhir's steady 53 at the top of the innings had set the ideal platform on a slowish track.

In reply, the Sunrisers never really got going, as the Kolkata bowlers, led by Kallis's three for 13, simply throttled them out of the contest.
