Cape Town - The 2014 IPL champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, will send a group of players to train in Bloemfontein ahead of the upcoming Champions League T20.
According to Volksblad, the players will also spend time with the Knights who are busy with their pre-season preparations.
Adrian le Roux, KKR's fitness trainer, will keep a watchful eye over the players while they train at his Sports Performance Clinic from August 19-31. Le Roux was previously involved with the Knights and the Proteas.
"It's mainly a conditioning camp they'll do under my supervision for the period they are here. They'll also spend time with the Knights where special attention will be given to skills, fielding etc."
The five players on duty in Bloemfontein are Yusuf Pathan, Piyush Chawla, Surya Kumar Yadav, Kuldeep Singh Yadav and Manvinder Bisla.
Pathan made headlines this year when he hit the fastest half-century in the IPL off just 15 balls, beating the previous record (17) held by Australia's Adam Gilchrist.
Jacques Kallis will also play for the Knight Riders in the Champions League but he is busy preparing on his own in Cape Town.
