Rain delays SL-Proteas T20

2012-09-22 11:45

Hambantota - Heavy rain delayed the scheduled 3:00pm local time (0930GMT) toss in the World Twenty20 match between Sri Lanka and South Africa at Hambantota on Saturday.

Both South Africa and Sri Lanka have already qualified for the Super Eights round after defeating Zimbabwe in their group C matches.

If rain continues and washes out the match it will be a huge disappointment for a sell-out 35,000 home crowd.

It won't happen with the lousy minnow matches but the one everybody really wants to see just had to have a wash out.

Hi Bud. I am a cric fanatic. But now I am sitting up in the mountains of North Sumatara with very little contact. If and when they announce a starting time please post it, so I can try to listen on the radio

To Paul From Paul: I am at Lake Toba. I can get internet but dont have tv here. Sentanta has been a major help lately but at the moment I am only getting a bit of internet. Hope to hit a city in 2 weeks and will catch up again. radio 2 000 works ok here on streaming.
