Johannesburg - South Africa's warm-up match against New Zealand, ahead of the World T20 tournament in Sri Lanka, was delayed due to a wet pitch on Monday.
The umpires found damp spots near the foot-mark area after close inspection in the morning, and the start was expected to be delayed by at least four hours in Colombo.
The World T20 starts in Sri Lanka on Tuesday. The Proteas play their first Group C match against Zimbabwe in Hambantota on Thursday.
