New Delhi - India fast bowler Shantakumaran Sreesanth says he followed the national team's good run at the ICC Champions Trophy from prison where he had been held over allegations of spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League.
Sreesanth told the NDTV news channel after his release on Tuesday night that he had been "fortunate enough" to watch television in jail and that the team was doing "really well".
World champions India defeated South Africa by 26 runs and the West Indies by eight wickets in Group B to emerge as the favourites in the eight-team tournament.
Sreesanth, arrested on May 16 along with fellow Rajasthan Royals players Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, said he had "full faith in the judiciary" and that the allegations would be proved wrong.
