Ganguly fears for India

New Delhi - Former captain Sourav Ganguly fears India may have lost the ability to win overseas as the team has struggled on their current tour of Australia, dropping their sixth straight Test away from home.

Ganguly says the manner in which Indian side have lost recent matches overseas suggests they may have "taken a huge step backward".

India trail 2-0 in their four-Test series against Australia after losing the opening Test in Melbourne by 122 runs and then falling by an innings and 68 runs in Sydney. The third Test starts on Friday in Perth.

India were beaten 4-0 in a Test series in England last year, conceding the top world ranking to their opposition.
