Eng v SL 4th day start delayed

London - Rain delayed the scheduled 12:00 (SA Time) start of the fourth day's play in the second Test between England and Sri Lanka at Lord's here on Monday.

Sri Lanka were 372 for three in reply to England's first innings 486, a deficit of 114, after rain had also forced an early close on the third day.

Mahela Jayawardene was 40 not out and Thilan Samaraweera one not out.

England lead the three-match series 1-0.
