Johannesburg - Pace bowler CJ de Villiers has replaced injured team-mate CJ de Villiers in the Titans squad for the T20 Champions League tournament in South Africa next month.

The Champions League T20 Technical Committee confirmed the change on Friday.

They also announced that David Balcombe had replaced Danny Biggs in Hampshire's squad for the tournament. Biggs is unavailable for personal reasons.

De Lange, 21, who has played two T20 Internationals for the Proteas, picked up a back injury and was unavailable for the South African domestic T20 title holders, the committee announced.

The Titans will be joined by the Highveld Lions in the tournament, which involves 14 domestic teams from around the world.
