Johannesburg - Fast bowler Lonwabo Tsotsobe has been cleared by the Proteas medical team to play in their second World Cup warm-up match on Tuesday.
Tsotsobe strained his right knee during South Africa's first warm-up game against Zimbabwe in Chennai on Saturday, Cricket South Africa said in a statement.
"Lonwabo suffered a grade one strain, which was not too serious, and was able to recover in time for the second warm-up match against Australia," Proteas team manager Mohammed Moosajee said on Monday.
"Brandon Jackson, our physiotherapist, is happy with his progress and has given him the full go ahead to resume with his World Cup preparations."
Tsotsobe underwent a fitness test at the team's practice session in Bangalore on Monday and was able to bowl and field without any restrictions.
South Africa face Australia in Bangalore in their last warm-up match before the global showpiece which starts on Saturday.
