Cape Town - England batsman Kevin Pietersen is planning on quitting one-day international cricket after the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
According to The Sun, Pietersen has been thinking of ways to spend more time at home with his wife Jessica and their nine-month old son, Dylan and believes that quitting the 50 over game will help him achieve that.
However, he will continue to concentrate on Test matches and Twenty20, including the Indian Premier League, of which KP admitted: “You'd be a fool not to put your name into the hat. You want to earn as much as you can along the way."
Pietersen and the rest of the England squad leave for Bangladesh today to begin their World Cup preparations.
