Clarke rested from 5th match

Melbourne - Australia captain Michael Clarke will be rested from Sunday's final one-day match due to continuing right hamstring soreness which flared up after Friday's five-wicket win over the West Indies at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Cricket Australia said Saturday that vice-captain Shane Watson will lead the side on Sunday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Clarke will fly to India on Monday morning, as scheduled, to lead Australia in a four-test series.

Clarke was moving slowly Friday while making 37 runs as Australia chased down the West Indies' total of 220 with 5.1 overs to spare. It was the home side's fourth consecutive win in the series.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
