Clarke released from hospital

Sydney - Cricket Australia says Australia captain Michael Clarke spent Sunday night in hospital suffering from gastroenteritis.

Clarke, who returned home early from Australia's Test tour to India with a back injury, was released early on Monday morning.

In a statement Cricket Australia said the captain "has since been discharged and is recovering at home."

Clarke is epxected to take 10 weeks to recover from his back injury, missing the Indian Premier League, to be ready for the Champions League and mid-year Ashes series in England.
