Sixers annihilate Yorkshire

Cape Town -  The Sydney Sixers have annihilated Yorkshire by eight wickets in their Champions League Twenty20 clash here at Newlands on Tuesday.

The English team never looked comfortable and stuttered to 96 for nine in their allotted 20 overs - a total which the Australian team chased down with ease, cruising to victory in just 8.5 overs.

Fast bowler Mitchell Starc (three for 22) was Sydney's best bowler, while Michael Lumb (43 not out from 23 balls) steered the Aussies home. Brad Haddin also made a quick-fire 41 from 21 balls.
