Cape Town - Cricket South Africa has tasked its legal counsel to look into Herschelle Gibbs's controversial autobiography and to advise accordingly.
The book, entitled To the Point, was released on Monday, but Sunday newspapers carried excerpts of it.
Calling it an "open and honest account", Gibbs tells of sexual escapades while on tour with the national team, as well as his troubles with alcohol and dagga.
CSA CEO Gerald Majola says everybody concerned (including players) needs to wait for the outcome of CSA's processes which will be announced as soon as the Board has taken a view or a decision on the matter.
CSA will not be commenting further until the processes are complete.
