Sydney - Pakistan were dismissed for a paltry 127 to hand Australia a 140-run victory in the second one-day international at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday.
Pakistan were never in the hunt, losing two batsman when the total was only seven.
The Akmal brothers were soon to follow and it was a never-ending stream of batsman back to the pavillion after that.
All the bowlers shared in the spoils, but it was the pace and bounce of Doug Bollinger (2/19) and Peter Siddle (1/23) - both bowling consistently in the high 140's - that blew the visitors away.
Clint McKay picked up 3/15 off 7.3 overs.
Earlier, Australia scored 267 for six having been asked to bat first.
The hosts started off well with Shane Watson and Shaun Marsh putting on 100 for the first wicket, before the former fell to Shahid Afridi for 69 off only 71 deliveries.
Marsh went soon thereafter for 41, followed by captain Ricky Ponting.
Six overs later, Michael Clarke was deceived by Umar Gul and chipped a short ball straight to extra cover, and the home team found themselves in a spot of bother on 166/4.
However, Cameron White (55) and David Hussey came to the rescue with a timely 55-run partnership for the fifth wicket, and when Hussey went to a good catch in the off Mohammad Aamer, Brad Haddin stepped in with a 14-ball 27 to lift the score to a more respectable total.
Aamer was the pick of the visitors' attack with 3/53 off his nine overs.
The only change in both teams from the match on Friday was the replacement of Mohammad Asif by Umar Gul for Pakistan.
Australia now hold a 2-0 lead and would like to wrap up the series on Tuesday, January 26 - Australia Day.
