Aus win women's T20 crown

Colombo - Australia defended their World Twenty20 women's title with a four-run win over England in the final in Colombo on Sunday.

Australia, who scored 142-4 after being sent in to bat, restricted England to 138-9 at the Premadasa stadium.

The men's final between the West Indies and hosts Sri Lanka will be played at the same venue later on Sunday.

Australia 142-4 (Jess Cameron 45, Alyssa Healy 26, Meg Lanning 25; Holly Colvin 2-21) def. England 138-9 (Charlotte Edwards 28; Jess Jonassen 3-25, Lisa Sthalekar 2-16)
