Rain washes out Day 4 play at MCG

Melbourne - Rain forced play to be abandoned late on the fourth day of the fourth Australia-England Ashes Test in Melbourne on Friday.

There was no further play from 06:00 before the umpires decided to call off the day's play.

There will be extended hours of play on Saturday, the final day.

Australia were 103 for two and trailing England by 61 runs with David Warner on 40 and Steve Smith on 25.
