Arendse to return to CSA?

Johannesburg - Prominent lawyer Norman Arendse could make a dramatic return to Cricket South Africa (CSA) as president, with daggers out for incumbent Mtutuzeli Nyoka, reports the Sowetan.

This comes after presidents of CSA's 11 affiliates submitted a motion of no confidence in his leadership, to be discussed at a special general meeting in three weeks.

A source close to the developments said: "There are people who are lobbying Advocate Arendse to come back as president of CSA, the argument is that he is familiar with the environment."

Arendse, who is now the South African Football Association Western Cape president, could not be reached for comment.

Nyoka said that the controversial Indian Premier League bonuses saga must be reopened.

Nyoka accused Majola on Thursday morning of lying to him about staff bonuses, according to posts on Talk Radio 702 breakfast host John Robbie's Twitter profile.
